Danila Di Croce is a writer, editor, on-air lifestyle personality, singer-songwriter and educator.
These various roles comprise Danila's twenty years of experience in the realms of communications and academia, which all began with her studies at the Metropolitan University of Toronto (formerly Ryerson University), in their prestigious Radio and Television Arts program. After graduating with honours, Danila pursued a Bachelor of Education through the University of Toronto's highly acclaimed OISE program, with specializations in languages and language study. With the desire to bridge her passions for both media and education, Danila became the recipient of the Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarships Master's Scholarship which she used to pursue her Masters in Media Production at the Metropolitan University of Toronto. In her Masters program, Danila was able to realize her dream of combining the worlds of communications and academia through the creation of an international online translator for social media language.
Over the years, Danila has engaged in a variety of experiences. With her start in radio broadcast, Danila wrote, produced and hosted a weekly entertainment segment, and was also responsible for a number of other writing duties such as station IDs, commercials, press releases, and speeches. Eventually Danila moved into the TV realm as a lifestyle expert, producing and hosting segments for media outlets such as Global TV, CHCH, Breakfast Television and more. Danila has also written for a variety of both online and print publications such as Panoram Italia and Castle Publications, and had the opportunity to create media literacy guides while working in CBCs Education Department. Furthermore, through her culture and lifestyle brand, Viva la Dolce, Danila creates and produces blog posts, social media content and live events.
